Download the activity below, “Draw the Words and Trace the Letters”.

The goal of this activity is to focus on a few things:

  • Pre-writing skills
  • Fine motor skill development (build muscle strength in the hands and fingers)
  • Visual processing and memory through word drawing

Learn six words associated with pictures you see throughout the story; chick, egg, pig, bull, sheep, sun.

Have your kiddo sound out the word to the left, trace it to the right, and then draw a picture of the word. 🙂
